About this project

64th & Avalon was SoLa's first ground-up project: a 28-unit, 100% affordable building delivered through the adaptive reuse of a formerly fire-damaged church. The four-story property offers studios and one-bedrooms for residents earning 30% to 60% of area median income, with an occupiable rooftop deck looking out to Downtown Los Angeles. Fully occupied and master leased to nonprofit HOPICS, it pairs housing with supportive services for formerly homeless residents, a quarter mile from SoLa's Beehive campus.
