About this project

Commercial & Ocean is SoLa's first ground-up project in San Diego, completed in May 2025 directly across the street from rapid transit. The 71-unit workforce housing development offers contemporary studios and one-bedrooms with in-unit laundry, a sustainably landscaped courtyard with barbeque and festoon lighting, and an indoor community space, with views of the Coronado Bridge and downtown San Diego. A partnership with Sunrun added free solar through the SOMAH program, lowering residents' electric bills.
